FritzZyme® 9 contains saltwater-specific strains of live nitrifying bacteria proven to reduce fish loss caused by toxic ammonia and nitrite. In new aquariums, harmful levels can rise within days, while beneficial bacteria may take weeks to establish. FritzZyme® 9 delivers the proper balance of bacteria to rapidly seed biofilters, shorten the natural cycle, and support the safe, immediate addition of livestock. Fritz Industries pioneered commercial-scale cultivation of nitrifying bacteria and has maintained continuous production for over 30 years. Use in new or established marine systems whenever the biofilter needs fortification, including after water changes, aggressive cleaning, adding new livestock, medicating, or changing filter media. FritzZyme® 9 contains live, saltwater-specific species of nitrifying bacteria.

Directions
For a new system, dose 4 oz (119 ml / ½ cup) per 5 US gallons (19 L). For systems with heavy livestock, the new system dosage may be safely increased up to 10x. For established systems, use 2 oz (60 ml / ¼ cup) per 5 US gallons (19 L).
